Product Showcase Webinar – April Recap

SCC Soft Computer’s Product Showcase webinars are presented by SCC’s subject-matter experts and are held twice a month on Thursdays at 12pm ET. The objective of these webinars are to educate our customers and provide an opportunity for them to learn what’s new with SCC’s Laboratory Information Systems Suites®. In the month of April SCC Soft Computer held two successful webinars where clients had the perfect opportunity to hear about new product features in applications they use daily, as well as submit questions and receive answers at the end of each session or via email if the question was client specific.

SoftMic® 4.0/4.5 New Features – was held on Thursday, April 6th for beginner expertise level users. The presenter covered result entry when using the worklist setup and functionality of the application. Within the new features of SoftMic, epidemiology received new setups and micro rules now have new actions users can utilize.

SoftLab® Gender Identity Functionality – was held on Thursday, April 20th for beginner and intermediate users of SoftLab application. The presenter went over how to get gender identity setup inside SoftLab and also went into detail on what gender identity is and how it can be used within the application. Another topic that was covered was reference ranges and whether or not they are affected by gender identity.

After successfully holding our 29th Annual SNUG Conference, SCC Soft Computer will continue our Product Showcase Webinar Series and our SNUG Webinar Series in July. Be sure to keep an eye out for updates over the next couple of months.
