SCC Soft Computer’s Product Showcase webinars are presented by SCC’s subject-matter experts and are held twice a month on Thursdays at 12pm ET. The objective of these webinars are to educate our customers and provide an opportunity for them to learn what’s new with SCC’s Laboratory, Genetics, Pathology, and Blood Services Information Systems Suites. In the month of March SCC Soft Computer held two successful webinars where clients had the perfect opportunity to hear about new product features in applications they use daily, as well as submit questions and receive answers at the end of each sessions or via email if the question was client specific.
SoftLab® 4.5 – New Features was held on Thursday, March 9th at 12pm EDT and was for beginner level. The presenter for this Lab 4.5 session covered the order entry for clinic and doctor notifications and how to report fax numbers from the clinic and doctor setup. This presentation also covered how to document calls within the application.
SoftTrack – New Features was presented on Thursday March 23rd at 12pm EDT and welcomed intermediate users of the 4.1.17 version of the application. The setup example was showcased within SoftPathDx®. The presenter went over station setup covering topics of grossing, embedding, microtomy, and slide staining functionalities. There was also a demonstration going over how to order, process, and how to get the results.
