Summary of SNUG’s 28th Annual Conference Recap

After postponing and canceling for two years, SCC Soft Computer and the SNUG Board were more than happy to be able to put on our 28th SNUG Conference. Although it was smaller than previous years, the turnout was tremendous, and we got to see familiar faces and even new faces. This is a step closer to normalcy, and we are very thankful for everyone who made this possible. Without the attendees, vendors, SCC Staff, and the sponsorships received, SNUG conference wouldn’t have been possible.

SNUG 2022 Attendance | We are beyond thankful to all for making SNUG Transformation: New Possibilities for a Changing World possible. We are happy to say we had 73 attendees this year and 34 were first time attendees!

SNUG 2022 Presentation Breakdown | There was a total of 48 sessions, 40 were presented by SCC staff (44 sessions including 4 repeats), and four were presented by SNUG Platinum Vendors: American Proficiency Institute, RCM Enterprise Services, Technology Solutions Group, and Vedant Health.

*All SCC SNUG presentations and pictures have been uploaded to the SNUG website*

“This conference could not have gone any better. After two long years of a hiatus due to Covid, returning to Clearwater Beach for our annual conference not only felt like a return to normalcy, but it felt like we were returning home. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful group of individuals that are able to come together to share their experiences, learn new things, and then take what they’ve learned back to their labs and transform their workflows. Having the opportunity to work with folks from all over North America, our various vendors, and the extraordinary staff at SCC – is nothing short of a humbling and rewarding week. It was a true privilege to see old friends and make new friends – an experience that we cannot wait to repeat again next year.” – Andrea Hawk (Past SNUG President)
