SNUG 2022 Conference Recap | SNUG's 28th Annual Conference & Meeting

SNUG 2022 Attendance | We are beyond thankful to all of you for making SNUG Transformation: New Possibilities for a Changing World possible. We are happy to say we had 73 attendees this year and 34 were first time attendees!

SNUG 2022 Presentation Breakdown | There was a total of 48 sessions, 40 were presented by SCC staff (44 sessions including 4 repeats), and four were presented by SNUG Platinum vendors: Vedant Health, American Proficiency Institute, Technology Solutions Group, and RCM Enterprise Services.

Keynote Speaker | Craig Karges, an award-winning entertainer, nationally recognized speaker and author, delivered a motivational message to awaken his audience to the potential of the mind and the possibilities you have in terms of success. Luckily Tony was successful in not losing $100.

Free half-day SoftReports pre-conference Workshop | Sunday afternoon, members of SCC's SoftReports team presented a free half-day workshop. It was geared towards optimizing current queries to run more efficiently, scheduling of reports using SoftReports Launcher, working with test comments, emailing setup, and Blood Bank Reporting (what's new).

SNUG 2022 Vendor Reception | Following sessions on Tuesday, attendees had a chance to relax and unwind at the Vendor Reception with some street tacos and a cash bar.

Attendees turned in their vendor game cards for an opportunity to win fabulous prizes presented by some of our wonderful vendors, while they socialized with the SNUG exhibitors and sponsors who help make the conference possible each year .

2022 SCC Town Hall Forum | The annual SCC Town Hall followed the Opening Session. Members of SCC's Executive Management team addressed questions and concerns submitted in advance by SNUG members and the SNUG Board.

SCC's Executive Management team was represented by the following:

{  Leszek Rumak, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Genetics and AP Division

{  Tomek Ocipka, Vice President, Research & Development

{  Hadrian Newman, Vice President, Strategic Projects

{  Magdy Ebeid, Vice President, Operations

12th Annual SNUG Karaoke Night | Karaoke was a fun time, as usual! We all had a chance to be stars for one night.

It's no wonder why this networking event has become a perennial SNUG favorite, and it's always a nice surprise to see–and hear–the talent in this group.

SCC's Annual Client Appreciation Banquet | SNUG Diamond sponsor, SCC Soft Computer, continued their annual tradition and hosted a banquet Wednesday evening. Due to the excitement we received from our first StarLite Majesty cruise in 2019, we decided to once again set sail into the sunset to celebrate our clients and show them how much they are appreciated. We even got the chance to see Florida's natural life without having to go to a zoo or aquarium.

{  Extra beauty rest! You can sleep in and get some extra rest since you don't have far to travel!

{  No rental car needed = additional savings on your travel costs and no worries about parking or rental car return! The hotel has restaurants, shops, recreation, easy beach access … everything you need is right there, or within walking distance. (If you do drive, the Sheraton offers free hotel parking.)

{  Free local transportation aboard the Jolley Trolley! Your stay at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort includes free local transportation aboard the Jolley Trolley for you and up to three friends! That's a savings of $2.25 per trip per person (or $5.00 per person for a daily pass)!
