               With the COVID-19 pandemic challenging many businesses, at SCC Soft Computer,
               we are continuing to acclimate to our clients’ needs and finding new ways to support
               them, especially in these challenging times. As the marketplace is changing, we have
               been adapting our delivery of a new LIS Administration Program that will provide a more
               virtual experience for our clients’ remote needs. The goal for certifying clients would be
               to provide a learning experience to elevate their technical capabilities for SCC prod-
               ucts, the tools to utilize those products to their greatest potential in their facilities, and to
               establish a lifelong partnership with our clients.


               Our new certification program will consists of two different paths – one for current
               LIS Administrators and one for new LIS Administrators. Both of these courses will
               be focused around three areas of study: SCC‘s Laboratory Information System,
               System Setups and Maintenance, and System Troubleshooting. Course work will
               be delivered to applicants through a blended teaching approach, in which candidates
               will attend live online instructor lead trainings as well as conduct self-paced activities,
               which will require hands-on assignments or projects. After candidates have completed
               all the assigned course work, they must pass a proficiency test in order to receive the
               certification. The entirety of this course can be completed within several weeks to
               several months – depending on the path that is chosen.


               Additional information regarding specific topics for courses and roll out times
               will be provided at a later date.
