COVID-19 Reporting Webinar
On Tuesday, May 5, SCC Soft Computer hosted a special webinar titled “Learn about Reporting
Strategies for COVID-19” presented by Thomas Larson, SoftReports Implementation Specialist,
®
and Jim Maloy, SoftReports Team Lead. The webinar consisted of two different touchpoints:
SoftReports LIS and Transfusion Reporting as well as SoftBI Dashboard and Reporting.
®
Thomas kicked off the webinar with his presentation on the SoftReports section explaining the
different types of delivery methods. File types and delivery methods have dependencies on soft
module versions and 3rd party software such as excel or adobe for view-ability. File output types
was also a topic that was presented, which includes: TXT, PDF, XLS, CSV, Printer, Email, and SFTP.
The discussion was then followed up by sharing screenshots of examples within the SoftReports
application, as seen below.

Jim followed up with an overview on Dashboard and Reporting in SoftBI. Below are some of the
examples of reporting pertained to COVID-19 using this application.
