COVID-19 webinar
On Tuesday, March 17, Jim Pomicter | Level 2 Lab Implementation Specialist and
Hang Hoang | Level 2 Genetics Implementation Specialist presented a special webinar
entitled, Learn how to utilize SoftLab/SoftMic and SoftMolecular during COVID-19.
Jim and Hang provided SoftLab , SoftMic , and SoftMolecular Test Setup approach

examples during this one-hour session.
• Jim kicked off the webinar with his presentation on COVID-19 testing and SoftLab/SoftMic, an overview of important websites
related to coronavirus, and a discussion of FDA-approved instrumentation for testing and recommended SoftLab/SoftMic interfaces.
• Hang followed with an overview of the end user workflow in SoftMolecular related to CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)
Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel. She concluded with a synopsis of the setup for Test Definitions and Worksheets.
• Jim and Hang concluded the webinar with a Q&A discussion.
