W e kicked off the summit Sunday evening with
a Welcome Reception poolside at the Marriott.
Attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres as they
networked on a gorgeous Florida fall night. SCC’s CEO,
Gilbert Hakim, opened the summit Monday morning with
a presentation on our Corporate Outlook and provided
an overview of the state of SCC. Monday was a full
day of sessions where SCC representatives and clients
networked and collaborated on presentations and topics
such as Digital Pathology, Value-based Care, Data
Analytics, Outreach, Pathology Cockpit, Genomics,
and Utilization Management.
Our leadership team provided a presentation road map of
our product development and delivery along with a preview
of our overseas Innovation Lab’s progress. Industry experts
presented on topics that covered the convergence of sciences and
technology within the laboratory workflow, providing better care
for individuals and improving healthcare management strategies,
the future of genomics and automated workflow, and more.
The conference was conveniently set up in a U-shape layout to
keep the dialogue open and to enable our attendees to engage in
conversation and provide feedback. On Monday evening, SCC
hosted a sit-down dinner where we continued our collaboration
and networking as we enjoyed a sumptuous meal overlooking the
Intercoastal Waterway. Sessions resumed Tuesday morning after
breakfast. We adjourned around noon and sent attendees on their
way with a “grab and go” lunch as they headed back home.
With the success of this year’s event, we’ve
already begun planning our 2020 Executive
Summit. Our second annual summit will take
place in early November at the same venue,
which boasts spectacular views of the Intercoastal
Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. We’ll be
sending a save-the-date in early Q3 2020.
We hope to see you there!
