SNUG 2019 Recap

This update regarding SNUG 2019 (SNUG’s 27th annual conference, meeting, and expo)
is provided by SCC Soft Computer, SNUG 2019 Diamond Sponsor,
on behalf of the Soft Network Users Group and the SNUG Executive Board.

We are pleased to share that SNUG 2019 was a success! With a focus on the power of discovery with the
ocean as a metaphor—and the role of healthcare IT and laboratory diagnostics in reaching successful
outcomes—we tied everything together with a nautical vibe at the annual conference:
OCEANS OF DISCOVERY | Charting a Course to Success.

This year, 148 attendees (including 69 first-time attendees) representing 60 different SCC client sites gathered for
SNUG’s 27th annual conference, meeting, and expo.

The four-day conference provided educational sessions, hands-on lab access, workshops, and networking events and
featured four tracks in addition to the product tracks.

Of the 59 total sessions …
. . . 40 were presented by SCC staff (45 sessions total with five repeats)
. . . Nine were presented by SCC users (no repeats)
. . . Six were two-hour expanded sessions
. . . Four were presented by SNUG Platinum vendors

As a special gift, SCC offered all SNUG 2019 conference attendees a FREE one-year subscription to their LIS
Admin Training e-Learning course (a $3,500 value).
