SCC Town Hall Forum @ SNUG 2019

Sharing our new mission, vision, and values

During the SCC Town Hall Forum at SNUG 2019, members of SCC’s executive management team addressed questions submitted
in advance by SNUG members and the SNUG board.
SCC’s executive management team was represented by the following, with Gary Weiner leading the discussion.

                         • Gary Weiner, Vice President, Global Healthcare IT Solutions
                         • Leszek Rumak, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Genetics and AP Division
                         • Tomek Ocipka, Vice President, Research & Development
                         • Hadrian Newman, Vice President, Strategic Projects
                         • Magdy Ebeid, Vice President, Operations

Gary summarized SCC’s 2019/2020 corporate initiatives, which include transforming the organization from a task-driven to a
customer-focused organization in line with our “Customer First” philosophy. For example, to achieve these initiatives—and as part
of SCC’s culture of accountability—SCC consolidated three project management teams and launched our Project Management
Office (PMO), headed up by PMO Director, Manpreet Bali, in the summer of 2018. In addition to providing an overview of
the accomplishments made in the past year across the entire organization (specifically in our Global Support and Implementation,
Genetics+AP, R&D, Strategic Projects, and Operations divisions), Gary touched briefly on SCC’s Professional Services and Managed
Services offerings that the company rolled out in Q3 2018 and invited attendees to visit us at the SCC Product Showcase to learn more.

SCC's executive management team was available throughout the week to address client questions, concerns, comments,
and suggestions one-on-one, in general sessions, at meetings, and during informal networking events.
As we continue to move forward and produce innovative products and solutions, we’re already seeing great results and the value
added by these initiatives. One of our clients (a major health system) shared that they recently experienced a full data center and
network failure. They disclosed that they appreciated having the dedicated and experienced SCC team supporting them throughout
the recovery, and that the LIS was the first system available to their end user community. The client was in the audience at the forum
and reiterated how impressed they were with SCC’s response and the support they received during this stressful unscheduled
downtime. We encourage client feedback and look forward to sharing more success stories.

Gary introduced SCC’s new mission, vision, and values statement—SCC’s “Spirit of Service”—during this 90-minute session
(see page 5). Throughout 2019, we’re celebrating our 40th anniversary and how far we’ve come in just four decades.
With the support of our valued clients, we look towards the future with confidence.
