Notes from the show floor | HIMSS 2019 recap

In mid-February, SCC attended HIMSS 2019 at the Orange County Convention Center in
Orlando, Florida. One of the largest shows in healthcare IT, HIMSS is the leading health
information and technology conference, bringing together 45,000+ professionals from
90+ countries for the education, innovation, and collaboration they need to transform
healthcare through information and technology – all at one time, all in one place.

SCC attends HIMSS every year as an exhibitor. We showcase our laboratory and genetics
information management system solutions—and raffle off a jet ski to one lucky winner.
It was a busy five days, and we had the opportunity to meet many of our clients as well as
HIMSS attendees who stopped by our booth for demos of our products and to register for
their chance to win the jet ski, which was on display in our booth.
