Client Services News

SCC Soft Computer achieves SCP certification for the eighth consecutive year

Clearwater, Florida (September 27, 2016)—SCC Soft Computer is pleased to announce that our Client Services division has achieved certification under the prestigious Service Capability & Performance (SCP) Standards for the eighth consecutive year.  After an extensive audit of our Clearwater, Florida customer service / technical support center, SCC achieved certification under the SCP Support Standard.  The SCP Standards quantify the effectiveness of customer service and support based upon a stringent set of performance standards and represent best practices in the industry.

“As a healthcare information technology company with a strong research and development focus, SCC has been recognized in the industry for producing functionally-rich products.  Our achievement of certification against the SCP Support Standard sends a clear message that SCC is similarly committed to world-class quality support.”

~ Jesus Blasquez, Director of Client Services, SCC Soft Computer

SCP_logo.gifThe SCP Support Standard is part of a suite of service capability and performance standards designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of technology service operations.  A consortium of leading technology companies and Service Strategies Corporation created the internationally recognized standards, which define best practices for delivering world-class technology service and support, quantify performance levels, and establish a foundation to build on existing quality processes.  Certification requires annual comprehensive audits to confirm that companies consistently meet the requirements defined in the standards.

These standards include more than 100 business elements essential to delivering top quality service and support.  Certified companies must continue to demonstrate their commitment to excellence and high performance standards through annual re-certification audits.

SCP Standards measure factors such as:

  • corporate commitment and strategy
  • customer satisfaction
  • performance metrics
  • research and development interface
  • other strategic areas of the service and support operation

The SCP Standards quantify the effectiveness of customer service and support based upon a stringent set of performance standards and represent best practices in the industry.  SCC’s total training and development score not only surpassed the SCP community scores, but also exceeded the industry benchmark.

  • SCC Soft Computer received a final score of 134.26, which surpassed last year’s score of 132.54.
This is clearly beyond the industry benchmark, which was calculated as 118.97 for this year’s results.
  • This score has advanced SCC’s Client Services department in their position within the SCP-certified community.  SCC Soft Computer is currently the highest scoring organization, ranking #1 among all the companies audited over the last 12 months.

SCC Soft Computer has a commitment to world-class technical support, and we take our commitment to delivering top quality service and support very seriously.
