Healthcare IT Company ranks among the Top 10 companies for workforce training and leadership development for the fourth consecutive year

SCC Soft Computer honored with 2011 Training Top 125 award: Training is in SCC’s Genes

(Clearwater, FL) Tuesday, February 15, 2011 – Training magazine has announced that SCC Soft Computer (SCC) was selected for the ninth time in ten years for a coveted place among many of the world’s top companies for workforce training and development. SCC placed in the Top 10 for the fourth consecutive year with a ranking of fourth overall.

From 2002 to 2006, SCC has ranked anywhere from 97th to 51st overall in the Training Top 100. In 2007, Training increased the field of competitors to 125 and changed the name to the Training Top 125. The Training Top 125 is considered the most elite ranking among Fortune 500 companies for workforce training and leadership development.

• In 2007, SCC vaulted up the ranking and placed 14th in the 2007 Training Top 125, moving in to the Top 15.
• In 2008, SCC moved into a coveted Top 10 spot with a ranking of 8th out of 125. With the Company’s placement for the first time in the Top 10, SCC became the first healthcare information technology company to rank in the Training Top 10.
• In 2009, SCC continued its upward climb and secured a ranking among the elite Top 5 with a ranking of 3rd out of 125 and became the first healthcare information technology company to rank in the Training Top 5. • In 2010, SCC earned another Top 10 spot with a ranking of 9th out of 125 and became the first healthcare IT company to place in the Training Top 10 three consecutive years!

On February 7, 2011 the first night of the Training 2011 Conference & Expo during the black tie “Crystal Ball” gala at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, SCC’s Educational Services team was thrilled to learn that the Company placed 4th, as they accepted their fourth consecutive Top 10 (and second Top 5) award and became the first healthcare information technology company to rank in the Top 10 for four consecutive years as well as the first healthcare IT company to ever rank in the Training Top 5. In addition to securing a Top 10 position for the fourth consecutive year and a Top 5 position for the second time, SCC Soft Computer was recognized with a special award for Top Evaluation / Business Metrics Score for the Company’s quantitative submission, which was rated by an outside auditing firm. In a separate awards ceremony, SCC received an award for Outstanding Training Initiative for its Office Support Mentoring Program featuring the SCC EDS Personal Learning Passport (NOTE: SCC was recognized with the 2010 ASTD/ISPI OPAL Award for Excellence in Team Success for this program in January 2011 (News & Events).
