SCC Soft Computer ranks among the global elite!

November 30, 2010

Clearwater, FL – SCC Soft Computer® Educational Services (EDS) has been selected for the ninth time in ten years for a coveted place among many of the world’s top companies for employee-sponsored workforce training and development in Training magazine’s 2011 Training Top 125. This is considered the most elite ranking among Fortune 500 companies for workforce training and development.
Last week, Training magazine, the leading business publication for learning and development professionals, announced the finalists for the annual Training Top 125, which ranks companies’ excellence in employer-sponsored training and development programs. The rankings for the 125 leading organizations will be unveiled on February 7 during the black tie awards gala on the first night of the Training 2011 Conference & Expo, to be held February 7-9 in San Diego, CA.
Now in its 11th year, the Training Top 125 ranking is based on myriad benchmarking statistics such as total training budget; percentage of payroll; number of training hours per employee program; goals, evaluation, measurement, and workplace surveys; hours of training per employee annually; and detailed formal programs. The ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, and how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.
