Spring has Sprung! SCC Soft Computer Announces Successful Start to 2015

(Clearwater, FL) May 19, 2015 – New displays and personnel meant many changes for SCC Soft Computer—the world’s largest LIS production house—from last year, but the company reports that they have had a successful start to 2015 and is looking forward to summer as they gear up for shows in July as well as a full roster of shows in October and November.

In March, SCC exhibited at ACMG in Salt Lake City, Utah, CLMA KnowledgeLab 2015 in Orlando, Florida, Forum Labo & Biotech in Paris, France, and ARABLAB 2015 in Dubai where they showcased SCC’s innovative fully integrated laboratory and genetics information management system solutions.

In April, SCC exhibited their new display layout at one of their biggest shows all year, HIMSS 2015 in Chicago, Illinois. Immediately following HIMSS, SCC was Diamond Sponsor of the 23rd annual Soft Network Users Group Healthcare Information Technology Summit on Clearwater Beach, Florida.

At the beginning of May, SCC exhibited at the Pathology Informatics Summit 2015 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, while key team members networked at Executive War College 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

About SNUG Healthcare Information Technology Summit

Soft Network Users Group Inc. (SNUG) was established in 1992 to promote the free exchange of ideas and suggestions, relating to the applications of SCC Soft Computer laboratory software packages. As a vehicle of communication between the users and SCC, SNUG offers assistance to the large international client base. SCC originally established the users group to provide a forum where SCC users could freely discuss SCC’s products with an eye on how the company could improve its products to better suit their clients’ needs. In 1999, SNUG was incorporated as an independent not‐for‐profit organization. The executive board of client representatives serves for three years. About Pathology Informatics Summit

Planning for Pathology Informatics Summit 2015 is the product of more than 40 cumulative years of experience in providing continuing medical education in pathology informatics. Its predecessor conferences were: (1) AIMCL, held in Ann Arbor from 1983 to 2003; (2) APIII held in Pittsburgh from 1996 to 2009; and (3) Lab InfoTech Summit, held in Las Vegas from 2004 to 2009. In 2010, these events were merged into a single, larger event, bringing together their directors and staffs under the sponsorship of the Department of Biomedical Informatics, University of Pittsburgh, and the Association for Pathology Informatics, API.
