Orchestrating Solutions: Soft Network Users Group® (SNUG) Hosts 22nd Annual Conference

April 22, 2014

(Clearwater, FL) April 22 – Encore! The Soft Network Users Group (SNUG) prepares to present their 22nd annual conference for users of SCC Soft Computer’s (SCC) clinical laboratory software solutions. Taking place April 27 – May 2 at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, Clearwater Beach, Florida, the 2014 SNUG Conference and Expo will offer a combination of educational and networking opportunities for allied healthcare and healthcare IT professionals. Established to promote the free exchange of ideas and suggestions relating to the applications and use of SCC’s laboratory software packages, the conference is a vehicle of communication between users and SCC.

The 22nd annual SNUG Healthcare Information Technology Summit® and Expo is expected to attract over 150 professionals from hospitals, laboratories, and large integrated delivery networks (IDNs) from across the United States and Canada. This year’s conference will focus on ‘Orchestrating Solutions: Healthcare in Harmony’, and will combine music and medicine. Attendees will be offered a medley of events, which will include educational sessions, product demonstrations, and workshops presented by SCC staff members and SNUG delegates. These events aim to evoke the concept of the rhythms and workflow in a well-run laboratory, where everyone knows the part they play, and each member contributes to the harmony as they orchestrate solutions.

Internationally known Sewa Beats will deliver a high-impact, interactive management learning keynote session by combining the elemental language of music and rhythm with twenty-first century training techniques. The annual conference will also host a vendor exposition for attendees to preview the latest products and services from vendors. These exhibitors will feature the most practical SCC add-ons and third-party programs to help advance productivity.
