SCC Soft Computer® Exhibits at the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) 2013 Annual Meeting

November 6, 2013

(Clearwater, FL) November 6—SCC Soft Computer (SCC) will present SoftMolecular®, their intuitive workflow solution for the diagnostics genetics laboratory, at the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) 2013 Annual Meeting taking place November 14 - 16 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

SoftMolecular® enables pathologists and geneticists to create customized protocols for managing testing workflows, derive data and images from automated instruments by interfaces, auto-populate report text based on result-driven reporting rules, and easily access patient and family medical and testing histories. As a result, patient information and testing data can be easily accessed and referenced, repeat testing can be easily managed, and the inherent error rate associated with manual entry is eliminated paving the way for efficient and accurate resulting.

SCC’s Genetics Information Systems Suite™ consists of six (6) technology modules (SoftCytogenetics®, SoftMolecular®, SoftFlowCytometry®, SoftBiochemistry®, SoftPathDx®, and SoftHLA®), which are fully integrated and share the same database and common functionality. Each module has specific functionality to support the unique challenges and needs for testing and reporting in these laboratories.

Visit booth 801 during the AMP 2013 Annual Meeting and learn how your lab will experience a world of difference with SCC’s full range of information management system solutions. To schedule a demonstration, please contact Ellie Vahman, (727) 789-0100, extension 4052, or ellie@softcomputer.com.

AMP 2013 exhibit hall hours are:

About AMP

The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) was founded in 1995 to provide structure and leadership to what was, at the time, the newly-emerging field of molecular diagnostics. Through the efforts of its Board of Directors, Committees, Working Groups, and members, AMP has established itself as the primary resource for expertise, education, and collaboration on what is now one of the fastest growing fields in science. AMP members influence policy and regulation on the national and international levels; ultimately serving to advance innovation in the field and protect patient access to high quality, appropriate testing.
AMP's 2,000+ members include individuals from academic and community medical centers, government, and industry; including, basic and translational scientists, pathologist and doctoral scientist laboratory directors, medical technologists, and trainees. AMP members span the globe with members in more than 45 countries and a growing number of AMP International Affiliate Organizations. The number of AMP members is growing rapidly; they are united by the goal of advancing the science and implementation of molecular pathology.
