SCC Soft Computer® demonstrates SoftPathDx® at the 2013 ASCP Annual Meeting

September 10, 2013

(Clearwater, FL) September 10—SCC Soft Computer (SCC) will demonstrate their diagnostic anatomic pathology and cytology support system, SoftPathDx®, at the 2013 American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Annual Meeting, September 18 – 20, at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Illinois.

SoftPathDx® provides the diagnostic laboratory all the benefits of electronic record-keeping, rules-based decision making, and the consolidation of results from all departments. This robust information management system can help improve efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize diagnostic decision making. Seamless integration with SCC’s Genetics Information Systems Suite™ applications provides easy reflex ordering of tests in the sister applications, with final reporting in the Pathology Report.

SCC’s Genetics Information Systems Suite™ consists of six (6) technology modules (SoftCytogenetics®, SoftMolecular®, SoftFlowCytometry®, SoftBiochemistry®, SoftPathDx®, and SoftHLA®), which are fully integrated and share the same database and common functionality. Each module has specific functionality to support the unique challenges and needs for testing and reporting in these laboratories.
