Lift Off! Soft Network Users Group (SNUG) Hosts 21st Annual Conference: Fantastic Voyage | Mission: Education

April 10, 2013

(Clearwater, FL) April 10, 2013 – The Soft Network Users Group (SNUG) is delighted to announce their 21st annual conference for users of SCC Soft Computer’s (SCC) clinical laboratory software solutions. Taking place April 15-19 at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater, Florida, the SNUG conference will offer a combination of educational and networking opportunities for allied healthcare and healthcare IT professionals. Established to promote the free exchange of ideas and suggestions relating to the applications and use of SCC’s laboratory software packages, the conference is a vehicle of communication between users and SCC.

This year’s theme is Fantastic Voyage | Mission: Education. Attendees will journey through the engaging events of the week-long conference, which will include informative breakout sessions, product demonstrations, and workshops presented by SCC staff members and SNUG delegates. The annual SNUG conference is expected to attract over 150 professionals from hospitals, laboratories, and large integrated delivery networks (IDNs) from across the United States and Canada.

The 2013 SNUG Conference – the Healthcare Information Technology Summit – will also host a vendor fair for attendees to preview the latest products and services from many vendors. These vendors will feature the most practical SCC add-ons and third-party programs to help advance productivity.

Craig Karges, one of the world’s leading extraordinists, will kick off the conference as the keynote speaker. An award-winning entertainer, nationally recognized speaker, and author, Craig’s performance blends mystery, humor, psychology, and intuition. He challenges his audiences to question what is real and what is unreal, what is possible and what is impossible in a voyage through the mind.
