SCC Soft Computer® Showcases Genetics Information Systems Suite™ at ACMG Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting

(Clearwater, FL) March 12, 2013—SCC Soft Computer (SCC) will present their comprehensive Genetics Information Systems Suite™ March 20 – 22 during the 2013 ACMG Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

SCC’s comprehensive Genetics Information Systems Suite™ offers a full range of genetics information management tools designed to automate workflow in the diagnostic genetics laboratory. This integrated laboratory and genetics software provides information management tools that facilitate healthcare providers in personalizing patient disease treatments based on an individual’s unique history and genetic composition, resulting in greater optimization of patient treatments.

SCC’s Genetics Information Systems Suite™ consists of six (6) technology modules (SoftCytogenetics®, SoftMolecular®, SoftFlowCytometry®, SoftBiochemistry®, SoftPathDx®, and SoftHLA®), which are fully integrated and share the same database and common functionality. Each module has specific functionality to support the unique challenges and needs for testing and reporting in these laboratories.

One of the first to produce production-environment-ready genetics information systems, SCC provides hospitals and laboratories with information management systems that enable them to compete in the highly competitive clinical diagnostics marketplace.
