National Dog Day – August 26, 2022

National Dog Day was established in 2004 by Colleen Paige, a pet and family lifestyle advocate. The objective of National Dog Day is to raise awareness about adopting animals who are currently living in rescue centers. On this day, August 26, we promote ownership of all breeds, whether it’s pure or mixed. National Dog Day gives dogs the chance to live a safe and abuse-free life.

“All a dog wants to do is love you and be loved by you. Dogs are amazing, courageous, sensitive, and sentient beings who deserve compassion and respect. Please consider bringing what was once considered “unwanted love” into your heart and home on National Dog Day!” Colleen Paige
