On Memorial Day, let us honor those who gave their lives for our country. It is important to recognize the meaning of this holiday and why we continue to celebrate every year. Let us remember all the military personnel who have made sacrifices for maintaining peace and defending our nation –the men and women who bravely left their families and their homes to stand up for the freedom and rights of all Americans, never to return.
