SCC’s Product Showcase: SoftPathDx® New Features Recap

SCC Soft Computer hosted another successful product showcase SoftPathDx New Features on March 17, presented by two of SCC’s subject-matter experts.

The first presenter showed new features regarding specimen related data and the display of this related data in a new “card” view for accessioning entry. The Specimen Info window was customized to allow for specimen and specimen related information, such as body site and procedure type details to be defined and available as a checklist, allowing users working in the receiving stations to more efficiently perform this critical data entry. The presenter explained various options for container panel customizations and different modes of display. Attendees also had an opportunity to learn about the logic of how specimen related fields can work for Canned Messages and UDx insertion for the report, and about various updates made to the fields.

The second presenter demonstrated a new sign-out entry for pathologists to go directly to a report-based entry for report editing and sign-out, and talked about the new SNAP reporting and how it can allow users to bridge to the new Report Sign Out entry directly from their “My Orders” queue. The presenter demonstrated a couple of case examples and explained numerous features available within the entry.

As always, the webinar was finalized with a Q&A session.

We thank all attendees for their support and for providing the valuable feedback after the session.

We look forward to hosting our next product showcase webinar:
