                       Updating SCC’s New LIS




                       Administration Certification Program






        SCC Soft Computer shares its clients' goals of increased productivity, return on investment, effective information
        distribution, and a higher level of patient care. SCC believes providing quality educational services are essential to
        empower our clients to become expert users of SCC’s robust laboratory information management system applications.
        Throughout the year, SCC’s goal has been to develop and deliver a virtual LIS Administration Program for our clients’
        remote needs. After much planning and preparation, we successfully completed a pilot program in October for which we
        were able to receive much appreciated feedback.  With this feedback, we are continuing to modify the program structure
        with the goal of maturing the program for general availability in March of 2021.

        This program is intended for LIS Administrators of existing customers with established SCC Soft Computer systems.
        Our updated certification program will be delivered online as a hybrid teaching approach including instructor led training
        sessions with hands-on activities and self-paced learning tasks which must be successfully completed before taking an
        online certification exam.
        As a program objective, upon completion of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate the basic skills required
        to perform their duties and responsibilities as a LIS Administrator for Soft Computer Systems.

        Registration will be open in March 2021, and trainees will be able to access the course from the SCC website under
        the Education and Training page.  Currently, we have targeted the next course to be delivered tentatively from
        March 22-25 and will publish a formal statement once the course is generally available.

                        Trainees will be required to complete the self-directed online prerequisite
                        micro-courses and activities before attending the group learning session.


               Additionally, the LIS Administrator curriculum will consist of twelve
                              micro-courses to include the following topics:
