ORGANIZATION: Mississippi Baptist Health Systems (BAPMS)
TOPIC TITLE: Ability to track status of stains ordered via Order Stains/Slides/Tests.

We need a way to track the actual status of special stains ordered via Order Stains/Slides/Tests. It would be helpful to have Results Query, Processing History tab, Orders history show the specific stain names ordered, who placed the order and when as well as the info already displayed. CAP requires being able to track who orders stains. This is desirable for internal audits as well. We need some way to track and run reports on stain utilization by pathologist.

SCC Response: Please note that final vote enhancement requests will be coded on the product development line. The development line for the Pathology product is SoftPathDx.
This requested functionality is not applicable as SoftPathDx works differently. This can be accomplished thru the use of AdHoc reports. A new suggestion can be submitted to the Genetics Suite bulletin board for next year if the functionality in SoftPathDx does not meet your needs. This request will be moved to the Functionality Exists forum for Pathology.
