REASONS TO ADD THE TOPIC: We need to accommodate our transgender patients to have proper medical care. So we are requesting two fields for sex of the patients: one for birth sex and one for current sex. We would like to use for both, documentation as well as reference ranges, RBS’s… the same usage as the current age field.


SCC Response: This request would require too many hours for a SIG. It is a multi-module per Lab architect.
