REASONS TO ADD THE TOPIC: If a panel/group test is cancelled due to a lab accident etc. allow the Cancel comment to display on the patient report in the first reportable component and “hide” the remaining components so the patient report is more concise. This will allow the attending provider or any provider the ability to see that the test was ordered and why he/she isn’t seeing the results
